BD CONSTRUCTION WINS NATIONAL SAFETY AWARD

BD Construction of Kearney, Nebraska, has been
recognized by the National Associated General Contractors of America for their excellent safety
record the past three years. BD has maintained a zero incidence rate for over 50,000 work
hours for three consecutive years, an incredible accomplishment.
The national safety award winners were recognized at the AGC Nebraska Building
Chapter Fall Banquet in November. Certificates of Commendation were presented to five firms
for excellent safety records of zero incidences.
“The strong commitment and awareness toward safety of our employees has improved
the overall health of everyone at BD Construction,” stated BD Safety Director, Pete Keyes. “As
a result we have experienced increased productivity by having injury free employees. That is no
small accomplishment?with this award we are able to increase our market exposure and
provide a safe work environment for everyone at BD.”
The AGC Nebraska Building Chapter, affiliated with AGC of America, is a statewide
organization of qualified commercial contractor professionals dedicated to skill, integrity and
responsibility in the industry. AGC member firms have quality people to build quality projects.

a daily priority,” stated Pete Keyes, “but rather a value.”
