BD Construction Assists with Addition of United Suppliers Kearney Facility

BD Construction, Inc., of Kearney, Nebraska, one of the Midwest's leading construction companies, will begin construction on an addition to the United Suppliers storage and office at the Kearney facility.

BD Construction will begin constructing the 15,000-square-foot addition in July with an expected completion date in the fall of 2011.

"This addition will allow for expanded inventory at the Kearney location," stated Distribution Logistics Manager for United Suppliers Dave Mulder. "The added space will, in turn, provide better service to customers and regional warehouses."

United Suppliers is a wholesale agricultural distributor, specializing in crop protection, plant nutrients and animal health products. The Kearney location, founded in 1997, is one of four distribution hubs servicing 30 regional warehouses across 20 states.

"It is evident this expansion will be very useful and was greatly needed for the Kearney location of United Suppliers," stated Mark Benjamin, president and CEO of BD Construction. "Once this development is complete, the facility will have more space and enhanced accommodations for its employees and customers."
