BD CONSTRUCTION ASSISTS WITH FAIRBANKS INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION
Released On: June 22, 2010
BD Construction, Inc. of Kearney, Nebraska, one of the Midwest's leading construction companies, has announced the start of construction at Fairbanks International, a farm equipment dealership located in Holdrege, who plans to expand both its sales/retail space and shop/meeting space. BD Construction will begin work on this 5,100-square-foot expansion at the beginning of April and plans to have the 2,700 square feet of sales and retail space, along with 2,400 square feet of shop and meeting space, completed by mid-summer.
The Fairbanks International Holdrege location has been in operation for 19 years. In this time, the number of employees has continued to grow, as well as the need for additional space. Fairbanks International turned to BD Construction to take on this project due to their experience and proven track record of high-quality work. Expanding the sales and retail area will better accommodate the space needed for the sales force and show room equipment and parts.
BD Construction will also work to expand the shop and meeting area of Fairbanks International. Prior to this build, a room to host customer meetings and employee and customer training sessions did not exist. As technology continues to evolve, training area farmers on proper functions of their equipment is an important aspect of business. BD Construction will make a room specifically for this purpose possible.
“This expansion will be very useful for Fairbanks International,” stated Mark Benjamin, president and CEO of BD Construction, Inc. “They will have much more space to implement the customer service activities they have wanted to for some time. We are excited to move forward with this project.”
