BD Construction Begins Construction on The Prairie Club Cabins

BD Construction, Inc., of Kearney, Nebraska, one of the Midwest's leading construction companies, has begun crafting the new Prairie Club cabins. This project is a continuation of the work BD Construction completed on the club's lodge for the grand opening in May 2010.

The Prairie Club, located near Valentine, Nebraska, consists of two championship-length, eighteen-hole golf courses, the Pines, designed by Graham Marsh, and Dunes, designed by Tom Lehman; one par three, ten-hole course, the Horse, designed by Gil Hanse; and an exquisite thirty-one room lodge sitting just yards away from the edge of the Snake River.

Plans for three cabins located on the rim of the Snake River below the lodge are now under construction. Each cabin will be approximately 3,500 square feet and replicate the same unique design as the club's lodge—aesthetically designed architecture to fit the environmental and geographical elements of the area.

The cabins reach two stories high and provide spectacular views into the canyon from the surrounding deck space. Each cabin has two separate floors consisting of four bedrooms and one common area/living room per floor. Upon completion of the cabin project, 24 new rooms will be added, totaling 59 sleeping accommodations throughout the club. BD Construction has set a completion date of April 2011.
