BD Construction Expands LandMark Implement, Inc., Holdrege Facility
Released On: July 6, 2011
BD Construction, Inc., of Kearney, Nebraska, one of the Midwest's leading construction companies, has begun construction on a 10,000-square-foot addition to the LandMark Implement, Inc., Holdrege facility.
BD Construction began constructing the addition to the service bay in June with an expected completion date in the fall of 2011. The additional space will allow employees to work more efficiently and move equipment through more rapidly.
"Currently our facility is equipped with just one overhead crane; however, the new space will allow for the addition of another crane which will lead to better productivity and exceed industry safety standards," stated LandMark Implement, Inc., Holdrege Manager Richard McClymont. "The safety and well-being of our employees, along with customer satisfaction, is our primary focus at LandMark Implement, Inc."
LandMark Implement, Inc., a local John Deere Dealership with six locations spread throughout Central Nebraska and North Central Kansas, specializes in new and used John Deere equipment. As the overall size of farm equipment continues to increase, more physical space is required to repair the equipment. The addition to the facility's service bay area will also allow for more room to service tractor-trailer semis.
"In any line of service or maintenance work, space and room to move about is a necessity," stated Mark Benjamin, president and CEO of BD Construction. "The 10,000-square-foot addition will provide employees at LandMark Implement, Inc., with the proper area to complete their work in a safe and timely fashion, keeping their customers satisfied."
