Dennis Neemeyer has been a part of BD Construction for more than 40 years. Growing up on a farm, he was exposed to heavy equipment at a young age. Dennis joined BD in 1966, just six years after it was formed, at the age of 17.
In the years that followed, he became skilled in construction techniques and adept at all aspects of the construction business. In the 1970’s, he was able to utilize his nearly 13 years of US Army Reserves experience to become an effective leader and was promoted to superintendant of construction crews. Dennis moved to Kearney in 1983 to help start the satellite office. In 2000, he became a shareholder in the firm, and was named vice president in 2002 in recognition of his leadership abilities.
As project manager, Dennis oversees all aspects of a job, including supervision of crews and subcontractors, procurement, permits and scheduling.
Dennis’s involvement in the Kearney community includes serving as the past vice-president and president of the Kearney Cosmos Club and is very active in his church. In 2009, he was chosen by Governor Heineman to serve on the Judicial Selection Committee.
