Like many of his coworkers, Marty Coble’s decision to enter the field of construction was influenced by family heritage in the industry; his father owned a construction company in Broken Bow. However, upon graduation from high school, Marty pursued other options to broaden his horizon. Running track for Cloud Community College in Concordia, Kansas, Marty pursued his associate’s degree in science. Upon his graduation from college, Marty moved to Kearney because of the larger city atmosphere.

Marty joined BD Construction in 2006 as a laborer and began to work his way up the scale of responsibility. Currently, he is a superintendent, managing subcontractors and suppliers and overseeing the project schedule, quality control and safety of on-site activities.

When he’s not at work, Marty enjoys the great outdoors. He appreciates the opportunities the Kearney area gives him for hunting, fishing and riding Motocross with his nephews.
