Commercial, light industrial or municipal building projects generally go from concept to reality in one of three ways. Either they are designed by an architect and the design is put out to bid among contractors — called the design-bid-build model; a single company provides both the design and building functions — called the design-build model; or the client assembles a team consisting of an architecture firm and a contracting company to work together — called the construction management model.
Although BD Construction can and does work in all three models, we feel the design-build model clearly provides the greatest value to clients.
