Trails and Rails Museum needed a front-door for its five-acre campus as well as climate-controlled storage for more than a century’s worth of historical documents and artifacts. The non-profit organization, Buffalo County Historical Society, raised funds through a capital campaign and wrote grants to pay for the building. BD integrated special systems to protect the archives along with a display lighting system.
A few years later, the museum raised enough money to complete a west wing as part of phase II.
