Safety & Training

Safety on the jobsite and companywide is a lot more than an afterthought at BD Construction. BD follows strict guidelines with a written safety policy, along with unannounced, on-site inspections by a third party on all our projects. Because safety is our highest priority, all subcontractors also are inspected. Our main focus is helping deliver successful, accident-free projects.

We make it a guiding principle to strictly adhere to OSHA standards for the safety of our own employees as well as subcontractors and the general public. Among our safety initiatives:

• Extensive accident prevention training
• A safety reporting system
• A safety incentive system
• A written safety policy
• Third-party, on-site inspections
• A drug-free workplace program that combines education and training with pre-employment, random and post-accident drug testing
